What are the active ingredients used in the MesoGlow treatment?
The ingredients vary depending on the needs of the patient. The most common ingredients used is hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, vitamin B, peptides. These ingredients may be combined into a cocktail for optimum results.
Juvederm Volite Skin Booster
Skin boosters, simply put, are tiny injections which deliver droplets of pure hyaluronic acid into the skin to improve its hydration and elasticity, in addition to the appearance of fine lines. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin, When HA is delivered into the skin, with Juvederm Volite, it combines with water in your skin to hydrate, stimulate collagen production and improve the overall quality.

What does the treatment entail?
A thorough consultation will be performed by one of our Skin specialists prior to booking the treatment to discuss the patients goals and objectives. On arrival, we will take high quality photos to assess the succession of the treatment before and one month after. A medical grade topical anaesthetic cream is applied and left on the skin for 30 minutes, thereafter, we administer the Volite through our Vital Injector which accurately distributes the serum into the skin. We end off the treatment with the application of a high quality hydrating moisturiser followed by 20minutes of LED light therapy to assist with the healing process. You will receive a mini post procedure pack to support your skin’s recovery.
Who is the ideal candidate for a Skin booster?
This treatment is a great all rounder for anyone, perfect for retaining that summer glow all year or just a boost for dull, tired looking skin.
How soon will one start to see results?
Some results will be noticeable 1/2 weeks following treatment which will continue to improve over the course of a month.
Is there any downtime?
There is downtime associated with this treatment. There will be slight swelling/redness immediately after the treatment followed by pin prick bruises which should clear up within 7-10days. Each patient’s recovery period will solely rely on their skin’s healing ability. We offer each patient complimentary LED light therapy sessions to assist with speeding up the recovery period.
How long does the results last?
Known as the 9 month skin moisturiser, results can last between 6 to 9 months but has a more lasting effect on improving collagen synthesis.

Will there be any downtime after the treatment?
There is little to no downtime with these combo treatments. In some cases, the skin is slightly flushed with a warm/tingly sensation immediately after the treatment, this will subside within a couple of hours. We do recommended to avoid using any retinol/ acid based creams for the next 4 days.
How many sessions are required before seeing results?
You will see/feel a significant difference in the skin after the first treatment, however, for best results, we recommend 5-6 sessions every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the chosen combo treatment.
